The implementation and subsequent certification of the Criminal Compliance Management System in accordance with the UNE 19601 standard is the maximum guarantee that an organisation can offer as to its commitment to compliance and can serve as a defence in the event of the commission of a crime (Article 31 bis of the Criminal Code).

Furthermore, being awarded the ISO certification under the UNE 19602 standard allows the company to demonstrate, before third parties, that it complies with the tax standard and that it has procedures in place to prevent its own business-related liabilities or those of third parties.
