Experience

Oriol has extensive experience in providing legal advice for all areas in the spheres of commerce, corporations, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and procurement, as well as for business operations with national and international fiscal implications.

Thanks to in-depth knowledge of a range of sectors and market segments, he has huge capacity to design and lay out the best strategy for the creation and development of business and corporate transactions. In this respect, he has devoted part of his professional career to advising companies covering a host of disciplines such as the purchase and sale of industrial and service companies, planning and execution of company merger and spin-off operations, joint-ventures and, in general, all aspects relating to commercial procurement.

In the field of bankruptcy, Oriol has been involved in major, complex procedures having intervened in several of the foremost bankruptcy procedures that have taken place in Spain to date. In this area he specialises in counselling for parties interested in purchasing assets or production units of companies in bankruptcy, analysing the best offers to make and intervening in negotiations with the bankrupt company or the bankruptcy administrators.

It is necessary to highlight his extensive experience in all fields relating to legal counselling for urban planning and real estate matters, specialising in real estate investment and funding, corporate structure creation and vehicles for making real estate investments nationally and internationally.

At the same time, Oriol is also a managing partner of Addenco, a company specialising in international energy law with experience in legal counselling for all regulatory, contractual and financial aspects for companies and institutions, particularly in the liquid hydrocarbon, renewable energy and clean technology sectors.
