David Martínez

An economist and joint founder of AddVANTE, he is an expert in strategic and financial consultancy, transformation of organisations and business development with extensive experience in corporate financing and restructuring

Experience

In the quest for ideas and innovative solutions to lay out a new map for development opportunities, David has assisted many companies in coping with their more complex challenges to transform, and to promote and restructure key business aspects in order to grow in a balanced, sustainable fashion.

He currently provides consulting services related to the financing and development of new business models based on Blockchain technology, which has led to him building up a wealth of experience in the development of new financing and fundraising models, generating new efficient and safe traceability projects, as well as structuring STOs (Security Token Offering) in different industries.

He possesses extensive experience built up from his years working as a consultant and auditor in the field of banking providing him with a wealth of knowledge about the financial sector. He specialises in corporate financing, structured operations and refinancing, primarily in the ICT, industrial, consumer, energy, motoring, construction and health sectors.

His experience in family business development and growth processes is worth highlighting, along with his track record as a consultant in several sectors, allowing him to be actively involved as an independent consultant on strategic issues and providing support in the generational change-over of company managing and decision-making bodies.

Within his fields of specialisation, his extensive experience in the cooperative field and in the health and energy industries is worth highlighting. He has been actively involved in various restructuring processes, setting up business groups and setting out strategic plans in these industries. Also noteworthy is his work as an independent expert in arbitrations before the ICSID (World Bank with headquarters in Washington) to intervene in disputes between governments and companies within the renewable energy industry.
