How do you calculate your organization’s carbon footprint?
The climate emergency is one of the great challenges facing humanity. Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are accelerating a global warming of our planet, to which an urgent response must be given.
Companies cannot be oblivious to this demand from society and must actively engage in the fight against climate change. In addition, public administrations are increasingly including requirements in tendering processes by asking organisations to provide specific plans to calculate, reduce and/or offset the emissions they generate. In this context, the quantification of GHG emissions (carbon footprint) becomes a fundamental management tool.
ECOGESA, a consultancy firm specializing in sustainability and social responsibility, is organizing a free webinar next Thursday, July 9, at 9:30 am, in which we will try to answer questions such as
- What are the public administrations demanding from us?
- What is the carbon footprint?
- How can you calculate?
- What key aspects should we take into account?
- What benefits can it bring to the organization?
The webinar will last an estimated 45 minutes. You will be able to connect at 9:25 am to verify the audio and the correct reception of the image.
The session will be led by Berta Llobet, ECOGESA’s Project Manager, and will also feature Jordi Martínez, Director of ECOGESA.
